Yes...almost...
Finger looks almost normal now. But looks are a bit deceiving since it still won’t move like it should. All in good time. As long as i do my physical therapy exercises it should come back.
So what has happened since last I post...no skating...at least in the parks. took out the street skate for a spin. Put new wheels on it. Big Cushy Wheels to go over all those rocks and cracks with no effort what so ever. Thanks Bob at Circle-A for the help now I can roll with ease.
It’s been a busy time as shown by the date above ... here we are on 6/25 and i still have not posted this.
Go Skateboarding day on June 21 came and went and i did not get on my skate. Bummed about that one, but Nyk n Adrian went to Sunnyvale and skated a bit before it got too hot.
So here are a couple more
pix of the hand healing in process.

And here is a backlog of other events....

put on an Earth Day Skate Demo at Whole Foods in
San Mateo on April 23rd 2006.
I took Nyk, Julian and met friends, Ron, Jackie, Gary. and his kids.
Was a real good time of skating, food, and music.
Live music from Blktop Project Featuring Tommy Guererro,
Ray Barbee, Matt Rodriguez, Chuck Treece and Sets by DJ Clay.
I got a chance to say hello to Tommy and chatted
a bit with him, his wife and son.
It was in the 70’s the last
time I spoke and skated with him
at Skate Park Victoria in Milpitas,
so was pretty cool to catch up.
Took lots of photo’s
at the event and even got a bit of
film of the band playing.
Steve Caballero was there too
so I got the boys to pose with the old guys for a photo.
Got a chance to say hello
to Bryce Kanights since
he was popping around
taking photo’s.
Was a real good event
and great to see some
old friends

In May Adrian got his Orange Sash in Kung Fu
and as you can see from the photo it is having
a stressing effect on him.
We are very proud of how quickly he is getting
through the ranks in his training.

Shelley sent this photo I took of Scout
at our kitchen table to her friend Julie Wright
of Just-Wright Beagles and she liked the
photo so much that she entered it in the National Beagle Club of America
photo contest.  And it took 2nd place in the category “Just Beagles”.

We had another surgical procedure in the family as well.
Chelsea had surgery on her right foot..again, yes this is the second time on that foot. She had an Osteochondroma in one of the bones of her foot, and it was removed last year around this time and it grew back. We hope this is the last time. Surgery went well and Chelsea is doing real well.
In other news...
House-O-pups is in effect.
Yes we have a house full of puppies. Beanie had 5 puppies.
So Shelley and Chelsea’s website Starrinites.com is up and running to sell the pups. They have posted pix of the doggie family and all the puppies.

So I’ve still been scanning the old skate photo’s.
Here is one of my buddy Fred Huxham doing a
Rock-n-roll in the kidney at Skate Park Victoria.
I had painted his Pro-Tec helmet to have the FlyAway design.
it's been weeks and the finger is almost, almost, almost...

Yes those are pins in my hand.
They were not fun.
Nice to have them out now. Hell of allot of wrapping for a pinky. Here’s another pup photo.
Those pups will sleep anywhere.
Those are my feet while I was sitting on the floor. Nyk Tommy Julian Steve Shelley with Chelsea and her bear that they gave her waiting for surgery. They went and had her toes done up puurdy before the surgery. Adrian striking a pose with his new Orange Sash. Scout not begging to lick the plates.
